President’s Message

Dear IAGB Members, Friends, and Supporters,

As we welcome the fall season, I am filled with gratitude and pride as I reflect on what has truly been a historic year for the India Association of Greater Boston. During our recent Annual General Body Meeting, we celebrated the remarkable achievements made possible through the collective efforts of our members, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and supporters. IAGB’s accomplishments this year included receiving our first-ever Massachusetts Republic Day Proclamation, a State Senate Citation, the Community Excellence Award from the India International Film Festival of Boston, and two significant grants recognizing our growing impact across the Commonwealth.

Our flagship events, Republic Day and India Day, brought together thousands of community members and showcased the rich diversity, talent, and spirit of the Indian American community. We also launched new initiatives, including our inaugural Women’s and Men’s Tennis Ball Cricket Tournaments and the Youth 3D Printing Workshop, while expanding programs for seniors, youth, and families. These milestones reflect our commitment to innovation, inclusion, and community service.

This month, IAGB was also honored to receive the Community Excellence Award from the India International Film Festival of Boston, a recognition that belongs to every volunteer, supporter, and member who has contributed to our mission over the years. We are equally grateful for opportunities to collaborate with organizations such as KANE, Gurjar, and many other community partners who continue to strengthen the fabric of our New England community.

As we move forward, IAGB remains committed to building bridges across cultures, generations, and organizations while preserving our rich heritage and creating meaningful opportunities for engagement and service. Together, we will continue to grow, innovate, and make a positive impact.

Thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming programs and celebrations.

Warm regards,
Nilesh Agrawal
President
India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB)
