President’s Message
President’s Message
May 2026 has been a remarkable month for the India Association of Greater Boston. IAGB delivered four unique community events and served as a partner organization for two additional programs, making this one of our most active and engaging months in recent years.
From cultural showcases and senior-focused programs to heritage celebrations, partnerships, and community outreach, each event carried its own purpose and impact. Together, they demonstrated what IAGB stands for — service, connection, and the celebration of our shared heritage.
This month, IAGB organized four unique programs: the Winter Clothing Drive, the Senior Expo and Cultural Exchange, the Discover India Pehnawa Weaves of India event, and the IAGB 5K Walk. We also proudly served as a partner organization for two major regional celebrations, the AAPI Heritage Night with the New England Revolution and the GBH AANHPI Heritage Celebration further strengthening our presence across New England.
As one of the oldest and most respected Indian organizations in the region, IAGB continues to evolve with the needs of our community. This month’s achievements reaffirm our commitment to creating meaningful experiences, strengthening partnerships, and bringing people together across generations.
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and contributed to these initiatives. Your enthusiasm inspires us to keep raising the bar and expanding the reach of our work.
We look forward to continuing this momentum and serving our community with even greater energy in the months ahead.
Warm regards,
Nilesh Agrawal
President, India Association of Greater Boston
