President Message

On August 15th, we gathered at NARA Park Amphitheater for IAGB India Day 2026 – Colors of India, a vibrant celebration of our heritage, unity, and shared pride. This year’s festivities brought together more than 4000 of community members across New England in a joyful expression of culture, creativity, and togetherness.

Since 1962, the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) has served as the oldest and largest Indian American organization in New England, supporting and uplifting a community of more than 100,000. India Day 2026 reaffirmed our mission to preserve cultural heritage, foster inclusion, and build bridges across generations and traditions.

The theme “Colors of India” came alive through an extraordinary lineup of programs from cultural performances and community booths to interactive activities, live music, and our first-ever tennis ball cricket tournament. The energy of the interactive flash mob and dance-along, led by Swasti Bhargava, filled the amphitheater with movement and joy. The Grand Finale DJ Celebration, presented by Xtreme Productions, transformed the evening into a festival of rhythm, unity, and celebration.

We were honored to host 40+ partner organizations, supporters, and media partners, whose collaboration reflects the strength and vibrancy of the Indian American community across New England. With 200+ performers, and enthusiastic engagement across all activities from rangoli and arts to trivia, raffles, and community showcases, India Day 2026 truly embodied the spirit of celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, performers, educators, partner organizations, and families. Your dedication, creativity, and commitment are the heartbeat of IAGB. Whether you were on stage, coordinating logistics, supporting booths, or cheering from the audience, you helped create a day that will be remembered with pride and gratitude.
