IAGB 3D Printing Workshop – Event Highlights
IAGB successfully hosted its first 3D Printing Workshop on April 11, 2026, in Woburn, MA. The morning session (9:00 AM–12:30 PM) introduced students to the fundamentals of 3D design, modeling, and printing through hands‑on activities. Participants explored real‑world applications of 3D technology and created their own printed objects, making it an engaging and educational experience.
We were honored to welcome Guest of Honor Sandeep Asija (Asija Properties), whose presence and encouragement added great value to the event. The instructional sessions were led by IIT AGNE members Roopesh Mathur, Alkesh Shah, Bala Balasubramanian, and Vivek Badami, who guided students through the technical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.
IAGB extends heartfelt thanks to Gautam and Rachana Shah for generously sponsoring the venue, and to Dev Patil (The Treasury, Burlington) for sponsoring the snacks for all participants. We also appreciate Jeevan Sarode for capturing the workshop through his photography.
The workshop was coordinated by Prashant Kulkarni, supported by Deepak Garg, Lima Das, Shital Bhammar, Manish Bhowmick, and Vijay Ejenkar, who ensured smooth execution from start to finish. Their teamwork and planning played a key role in the success of this initiative.
This workshop reflects IAGB’s continued commitment to offering meaningful, skill‑building programs for the community.
IAGB Attends the Inauguration of Ekal New Hampshire Chapter
IAGB was pleased to be represented at the inaugural event of the Ekal Vidyalaya New Hampshire Chapter, attended by Nilesh Agrawal (President, IAGB) and Deepak Garg (Vice President, IAGB). The launch of this chapter marks an important milestone in Ekal’s mission to expand access to education and holistic development in rural India.
The event brought together community leaders, partner organizations, and supporters who share a commitment to empowering underserved communities. The program highlighted Ekal’s vision and the collective responsibility we all share in strengthening education and creating sustainable impact.
IAGB congratulates Aarti Khuranaa, the first President of the Ekal NH Chapter, and Rakhi Grover Nagpal, Vice President, for organizing a meaningful and well‑executed inaugural gathering. We also acknowledge Manisha Jain, Executive Director of Ekal, for her leadership and continued dedication to advancing Ekal’s mission across the region.
IAGB looks forward to continued collaboration and supporting initiatives that promote education, empowerment, and community service.
IAGB Participates in TMM Chithirai Vizha 2026
The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) was honored to participate in the Tamil Makkal Mandram (TMM) Chithirai Vizha 2026, a vibrant celebration of the Tamil New Year held at the Ayer Regional School Auditorium in Ayer, MA.
TMM recognized several New England community organizations for their contributions, and IAGB was invited on stage to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from TMM President Kannan Alagarraj and the organizing team. The event featured colorful cultural performances, traditional festivities, and a warm gathering of community leaders, principals, and volunteers from across the region.
Representing IAGB at the event were President Nilesh Agrawal, Vice President Deepak Garg, Treasurer Vijay Ejenkar, and Director Lima Das.
IAGB extends heartfelt thanks to TMM for this recognition and for their continued efforts in strengthening cultural unity and collaboration across New England.
IAGB Attends “Taste of Ayurveda” Cultural & Wellness Event
The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) was pleased to attend Aumgram Ayurveda’s “Taste of Ayurveda”, a unique cultural and wellness experience held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2 Washington St, Foxborough, MA.
The event brought together Ayurveda, Maharashtrian culture, mindful living, and sattvik food traditions in an engaging and educational format. Guests enjoyed insights into Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle, along with a celebration of regional culinary heritage and traditional attire.
The program featured:
- Celebrity Chef Vishnu Manohar, known for his vibrant culinary expertise and promotion of regional Indian cuisine
- Celebrity Cohost Jenny Johnson, recognized for her media presence and community engagement
IAGB President Nilesh Agrawal attended the event and joined community members in supporting this meaningful initiative that highlights Ayurveda as a holistic approach to wellness, balance, and cultural connection.
