Through culture, education, the arts, and community service , Prabasi creates a sense of belonging, connects generations, celebrates our heritage, and builds bridges across
communities.

OUR PROGRAMS

Throughout the year, Prabasi brings our community together through Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Rabindra Utsav, Kobi Jayanti, Holi, Member Appreciation Day, and our Annual Picnic, featuring music, dance, theater, literature, food, and cultural activities.

Our expanding programs include Youth STEM initiatives—Robotics, Coding & Science—arts and theater workshops, Agomoni literary magazine, educational programs, scholarships, and
community service initiatives.

OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT

With 500+ member families, 100+ active volunteers, and programs reaching thousands across New England, Prabasi has become a vibrant cultural and community platform.

In 2024, Prabasi reached 3,000+ attendees through major events, awarded $1,000 in academic scholarships, and engaged hundreds of youth and thousands of volunteers through arts, theater, and STEM programs.

Our commitment extends beyond cultural programming through support for Acton Food Pantry, Greater Boston Food Bank, local charities and relief efforts, while collaborations with
schools, nonprofits, and institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston help increase South Asian cultural visibility and community engagement.
