Book Panel Discussion
Join us for ‘A Nation to Protect’ Book Panel Discussion on Dec.10th .
India, home to eighteen percent of the world’s population, had to cope with three particularly strong waves of the virus.
We witnessed devastation already caused by the virus in many countries despite superior healthcare infrastructure. Yet hovering at 1.11%, India’s fatality has been the lowest in the world. Despite totally shutting down our economy for a limited period of time during the initial days of the pandemic, India has managed to get it back on track with sound, strategic regulatory responses. And the quickest country to administer 125 crore vaccine doses flabbergasting critics who predicted that India would take at least a decade to vaccinate its entire population.
Many people, around the world, would like to know the full story of how India managed to turn the COVID tide into an opportunity for growth. The author presents information based on facts, references, and hard data in a competitive format with the global response situation. The takeaway is clear – we are now in the age of a new India which is stronger, unflinching in its resolve to grow, and undeterred by crises. India is no longer discovering its place in the world but is confident in its contribution to humanity and the globe.
