Dr. Anupam Wali

Dr. Anupam Wali is a life sciences professional and has been involved in IAGB since 1987. He has served IAGB in various capacities since then, including as President from 2003-2005. He is an active member of our Greater Boston Indian community including ISW, Hindi Manch, UIA, and is currently On the Zoning Board of Appeals in the town of Billerica.
Dr. Wali’s vision for the future growth and resilience of IAGB is to identify the areas in which IAGB can take lead where our community can make a difference and add value as an immigrant community in the Boston area for the next generation of children, and young adults.

Harish Dang

Harish Dang

Harish Dang has left an indelible mark on the Indian community in New England over the past 50 years. Having received the inaugural “Legacy Award” at the annual NECA award in 2024, he is an institution by himself. He recently retired after working as an architect for a decade and then 35 years in Finance with large brokerage companies in Boston.

While at school at Harvard in early seventies, he became active with MIT Sangam and then in the formation of IAGB. He is the founder and creator of the famous Indian Radio Music Show Sounds of India, which ran for a record 40 years.

Harish-ji’s humble, generous, and kind-hearted nature has made him a beloved figure and an inspiration to many. He is committed to being a great resource to help take IAGB to the next level.

Vaishali Gade

Vaishali Gade is a finance professional working with one of the world’s largest IT companies. In her role, she has supported numerous clients by driving strong and consistent financial performance.

Ms. Gade is deeply committed to fostering community engagement, preserving our cultural heritage, and contributing to the long-term success of IAGB. As a trustee, she recognizes the critical role of ensuring continuity, maintaining accountability, and upholding high standards across all initiatives. With her skills, experience, and dedication, she aims to strengthen IAGB’s mission, promote inclusivity, and support impactful programs that unite and empower the Indian American community.
